All too soon!

After almost two months here in Rio de Janeiro (writing the name still excites me!), we are heading back to our main home in Barcelona.

It's been a sufficiently long time to truly feel rooted, connected and, even more, in love with this place. For whatever in life has brought us to this physical and emotional state we can only say, 'Thank you!'.

I can't put my finger on it but it brings a different sense of being with the world and those in it . . . granted it's only one particular focus point in the world but still outside our normal European habitat . . . we do have Cairo, as well.

We look forward to our return, grateful for the joy we have had here.  And thank you for your forbearance as we, at least I, have posted many 'postcards home' of our travels around the city and the state of Rio de Janeiro!
