Starling Murmuration

L & I travelled down to Ham Wall in Somerset today to see the starling murmuration, if you look closely just above the tree line you can just about make out the murmuration that we saw. It’s very much a lottery as to whether you’re in the right place at the right time, we were in the best place to see yesterdays murmuration but obviously not todays, oh well that’s wildlife for you.
The only decent photographs we took were of a very tame robin & a few great tits which we could probably have seen at home in the garden, but we’ve still enjoyed our day out & our meal tonight.
L has fallen asleep, I think I’ve worn her out.
