Same'ish but different

A brief entry because tired & weary after the second Snoozette after tea in a row, although tonight I woke up at a more reasonable time :-)

Before tea I had a quick try of an old computer flight simulator using eldest's laptop. Unlike the super realistic modern one have played on youngest's XBox console, this one is over 40 years old and I didn't get far beyond the end of the runway before crashing performing an unscheduled landing.

This one is an old game for the Acorn/BBC Micro that people of a similar age may remember from Primary School and/or maybe Secondary School days and it's running in an emulator on a website which is kind of mind-blowing but these things are possible.due to how far computers have developed since the days of the micro computer!

As a youngster, my parents bought me a Sinclair Spectrum which was aimed more than the home market than the more academic 'Beeb' but it left some fond memories. I still remember being in a Comet store with Dad when he bought our 1st two games for it on cassette tape  - one was Manic Miner (a fantastic platform game) and the other PSION Flight Simulator which was very similar to this one.
