Rembrandt Lighting Exercise

This was an experiment with how to position the light for a one light set up for a Rembrandt lighting portrait. There seems to be some discussion about whether the light should be perpendicular to the subject as compared to at a 45 degree angle to the subject. This photo is perpendicular to my grandson. It was fun playing with the light.
