Frustration
Talk about a frustrating day! I was scheduled for a video visit with my nephrologist while I was at dialysis and two hours after the scheduled time his office called to say that we'd have to do it on another day. When I left the clinic, I saw that I had a "low tire pressure" light on my dashboard. In the past, when this happened, I would just go a few blocks from home to Les Schwab Tire Center and they would fill my tires. But now that location moved up to Lynnwood.
When I got home, I followed up on the phone battery crisis I mentioned yesterday, and discovered that not only can I not get a new battery any time soon, I have to drive all the way up to Lynnwood just to get on a waiting list for a new battery. And it will be weeks before I get one. Fortunately I own a portable charger (above) which I was able to take to dialysis today so I could keep my phone charged. If it's not on a charger, it loses power rapidly.
Now I'm home and really tired. Fortunately Lex told me that there is a Les Schwab near where she lives, a much shorter trip than to Lynnwood, so I can go there tomorrow and get air in my tires. Also tomorrow I'll have my last semi-annual visit with the oncologist.
I hope every one of you has had a better day than that. Stay warm and be safe.
