Had a nice chat with the hospice chaplain today…. He’s closest to buddist , imo . .. he came just when friend Diane came with cookies ( but no “appointment “. So he benefited from yummy cookies. …. I think we are getting close to the not much food phase., In the mail came a yellow Kandinsky postcard from a friend who thought she might feel closer during this transition time sending cards. I like it. We’ve done well I think with “ 3 last summers “ at the lsland. Its January . The hospice man admits that is comfort care yes but it’s not perfect …meds always have side effect. Time to find something good to watch. Any suggestions?
