Mixed Beach Towels

One advantage of following the tide times rather than the sun is a less crowded pool. It was overcast with only three people in the water when I arrived. An hour later the sun had come out and it was packed. Most had brought their lunch, my cue to leave.

I took lots of photos of towels; pinks and blues are popular, following traditional gender lines. Groups of young men seemed to favour black- and blue-and-white stripes. And black footwear.
