Aqueduct and Viaduct
A good morning at work. It was very frosty to start with at minus 2 degrees, however it warmed up quickly and later got very dull.
Got a few things done on my way back from work, this included a visit to The Waters of Leith Centre-where the photo was taken. I am always in awe of the engineering here, with the Union Canal carried across the Waters of Leith by the aqueduct, and the railway carried across the viaduct behind. The aqueduct was completed in 1822, built by Hugh Baird with advice from Thomas Telford.
Later on I made a quick visit to mum before getting on with home chores.
