Ancestors!

Went to visit Airbles Cemetery today in search of D’s grandparents’s graves. We’ve driven past it countless times but have never gone in and I was amazed at how big and well appointed it is. We had a note of the plot numbers and luckily a chap who had worked there for 44years was able to lead us directly to them or I think we would have been there all day. He then took us to the office and showed us the entries in the old books. The oldest graves date back to 1905. It was a very interesting and strangely uplifting visit.
