S had his hip and knee x Ray at 9 at PRI. He was very quick and then we went for coffee as I needed to pop into M and S to see if their linen trousers were any good. Ones that were sold out on line.

Started a charity the lady at the next table as she had a walking stick and apologised for taking up the space between us. She said she was waiting in her knee getting operated on. She said that for the other knee she went to Lithuania paying half the price than here. She recuperated at a Spa before flying home which was included in the block price of it. She said she had to do it as it was excruciating the pain and couldn’ t wait the 18 months here. Very interesting.

I tried in the trousers in M and s but they looked horrendous on. I found a pair that had tapered legs and they were better so got them.

As I was walking to the food hall I saw my 2nd cousin Carol and we caught each others eye and I smiled and was going to speak but she threw me a filthy look and kept walking. Hell knows why!
