I spent quite a lot of time with a 3 year old today, discussing how weird dinosaurs looked. She has a book brimming full of impossible to pronounce names and an uncurbed enthusiasm for rereading it.

I saw birthdays at both ends of the spectrum with my friends boy who had his first birthday on Sunday, and my neighbour Phyllis who is 94 today.
