Here & There

Jordanelle Reservoir

This ski run has a reputation - tends to get icy and windswept at times, making it a bit tricky and unpleasant where it steepens, narrows, and winds down through the houses. Hence its nick-name among the locals as "the white ribbon of death". But the views are fabulous.
I decided I would give it a go this morning, and I survived! In fact the conditions were great, I enjoyed it - enough to survive it several times (or was I just enjoying the gondola ride back up, sheltered from the cold wind?).
