Three sisters

at Tongaporutu Beach. We are staying at a lovely freedom camp site beside the Tongaporutu river where we walked to the site of these structures on the coast. They are accessible at low tide only. It’s just a 10 minute walk along the low tide line but is very muddy and slippery. We didn’t have any mishaps getting there because we had sensible shoes and hiking sticks but we saw some very muddy people.
I had my first swim in the sea today. The water was very pleasant.
