A Classic

In a dealership to pick up my new(er) car yesterday afternoon. There was plenty of time to walk around the new cars in the showroom but it was this classic that took my eye.

In the end I chose a plug in hybrid. I drove home on the battery, which was a lovely smooth and quiet experience. There is still a lot to learn and the screen controls will take some learning. At least the driving experience will be familiar; I chose a newer version of my old car.

Earlier in the day, I’d joined colleagues for a birthday lunch for our manager. A special birthday; I don’t think she was wanting too much fuss, but she enjoyed the time and gifts she received.
