Congratulations…

…to 60plus10 who I think has chosen the perfect name for our planet; Minerva. Now all we have to do is persuade President Trump to set the change in motion. But because it wasn’t his idea I don’t suppose he’ll support it. I wonder whether Blipfoto could change the name of our world forever by persuading Trump?

Now coming back down to earth with a bump let’s get to today’s offering…
I needed a new Oral B electric toothbrush so off to Boots I went. Yes exactly the model I wanted at a reasonable price but the colours! Very pale girly pink (not me), black (looked evil) or pale blue. So best of a bad bunch was pale blue. But now I realise it coordinates (and that word looks silly without the hyphen which is a no no these days;-))with my Boots toothpaste and my handwashing I’ve forgiven it a bit.
I should have saved this for Silly Saturday I think.
But the day just got sillier if that’s possible.
I forgot to take all my morning tablets straight after breakfast and it was a good hour and a half later that I remembered so I took them straight away. Then I remembered that it said I must take my steroids with food. Ooops I don’t suppose it will kill me but I googled the NHS to see what to expect. Possible upset stomach; no more than I deserve I suppose. But as I was walking down towards town I realised I could pop into Trinity cafe for a hot bacon roll. Good for my stomach in two ways; it was delicious and really set me up for shopping. Shopping done I was just about home and saw the posties which reminded me I’d ordered a couple of things from Amazon and actually a day before I expected they dropped through my front door. Great because I kinda wanted them for Saturday. Last Saturday a group of us were chatting about eating insects and I was the only person who had done so. I think they’re great sprinkled on soup and I’m assured good for you and helping to save the planet by eating less of scarce resources. Nobody else thought much of the idea. Cowards I say! Be brave and try everything! Anyway I decided to get a couple of packets from Amazon and see if anyone would dare try one… I very much doubt it!
