Loch Katrine, The Trossachs

Go West, they said - so we did and managed to avoid the rain most of the way:-) Stopped in Crieff for a coffee and admired the pretty flowers in the town centre, then drove through Lochearnhead and Brig o' Turk to Loch Katrine in the heart of The Trossachs.

The SS Sir Walter Scott, looking a picture in spite of being well over 100 years old, was our cruiser of choice and we enjoyed a lovely sail up and down the loch admiring the beautiful scenery, before returning for a very nice lunch in the restaurant by the loch.

It's great to be a tourist in your own country:-)
