Caley cruisers in repose

This is where all the self-hire cabin cruisers are moored up for the off season.
     I’ve spent the past two hours editing a piece of factual writing with a view to entering it in a ‘short memoir’ competition.  Editing is a forensic business where you have to sharpen up anything that is too loose and delete anything you’ve said once already.  I’ve also been watching the birdies as I now have a second feeder offering suet balls. The great tits and the local robin seem to like it. I’m feeling the cold today.
