Not panicking
I was feeling quite stressed about our next trip because we are due to get the train tomorrow to Heathrow and fly out that evening but another big storm is scheduled to hit tomorrow morning no doubt causing power lines to be down.
To take my mind off it I walked along to Pondicherry and back by West Hills, only 3.5 miles but I got some steps in before I started thinking about packing. (And panicking). And before the rain.
This is the “bikini” actually one triangle of the group effort of the bedcover. And Mr C’s sister’s scissors and holder she made. I was very fond of her (we were school friends and she introduced us) and when she was dying I used to sit with her while we’d chat and sew. One of her last bits of stitching was on the Great Tapestry Of Scotland. If you haven’t seen it and ever go near Galashiels it is well worth a visit.
Now I’m going to cut Mr C’s hair (what’s left of it) and try to make a decision about getting to London. Panic ye not!
