Engrossed

I swear that the impending storm has unsettled quite a few students this week at work. Sheesh. It's been a week for sure . All schools in this area are closed tomorrow.  Which is the best idea. 

Myself and Mr R had a meeting at school to discuss Lincoln and the concerns we have regarding his reading and writing.  I've thought phonological or surface dyslexia for quite a while. And from his test scores which were quite low on the various tests suggest that he does have issues phonologically and retaining words etc. The support worker explained things quite well ( I had her daughter over 10years ago and is now 21 sheesh ). The staff at school are very good and are supporting Lincoln completely.  But they also agree that he's quite complex and it's not just  straightforward . Lots to think about and plan what we do at home. But he's so creative and amazing at art and minecraft and maths and we can help those gifts flourish even more. 


My work friend gave the jedi a new dress and he has declared it's a princess peach dress. And he loves it. Started the day as a pirate and has ended being a princess.
