Feeding time

It was a grey morning and I was not expecting to see any sun today. I arrived at the gym for the water fitness class and the sun was shining through the windows.  The pool has windows all around the sides so it was a lovely setting, warm water and sunlight.  Midway in the class we could see dark clouds coming over and shortly after a heavy downpour.  It was still raining as I drove back home.

Late morning the sun started coming out and has more or less remained although it's clouding over now.  There are red weather warnings out for some parts of the country and yellow ones in this area covering the weekend. It's due to Storm Éowyn passing over towards the east.


Todays blip is of the cows and birds in the nearby field.  It's a different type of feeding practice in that before the field was only visit every few months by cows but now there is very little grass left.  No doubt it will grow back again easily enough, it certainly does that on the allotment.
