Sally Mair - Loving life

Power to Pine Martens!

I had a quiet start to the day after all today as another kitchen company cancelled on us, a bereavement this time! It's frustrating as I have so little time. I would be delighted to hand over to others and am in the process of nurturing them into place but as the appointments are cancelled I'm losing the time to do this.
I had a meeting with our curate over lunch and afterwards to go through the congregational lists which was rather interesting.
Afterwards I met someone from the congregation and we went to the Rectory for the estimater from the company who did keep the appointment. It was very positive, we just need to see what sort of price he comes in with.
I was in Tesco when the T̶h̶r̶e̶e̶ m̶i̶n̶u̶t̶e̶ w̶a̶r̶n̶i̶n̶g̶ Severe alert warning came though on my phone. I think mine must have been early (around 5.50) as no-one else seemed to notice! Good to know it worked though.
In one way I hope it all comes to nothing, but I don't want people to start ignoring warnings when nothing happens, I certainly hope everyone stays safe tomorrow. We've done what we can moving indoors or into the garage, heavy things which might blow around. Our bin certainly isn't going out.
One good thing is we are off baby sitting duty tomorrow, sadly though that means Katy is missing a very rare opportunity to go out.
My blip today was seen in Lidl, it's hard to believe there is a need for such a thing in Edinburgh.
