Hillman Imps

During the last few days I have noticed a remarkable number of Hillman Imps on the road, must be an event nearby.
A Rootes Group car built at Linwood in Renfrewshire. It's been 50 years since production started but the vehicle was not deemed a success. However the number still on the road would seem to be contrary to this view.
