HEADING DOWNWARDS

Although I think we're not going to be as badly affected here as elsewhere by the storm tomorrow, I'd decided to stay indoors until I received a text asking me to call the physio department at the hospital to make an appointment to get my painful knee assessed. I'd submitted an online self-referral form back in October, had heard absolutely nothing back and thought it had disappeared into the void. I phoned to be told they had a free appointment tomorrow (Friday), and it's the local hospital so I don't have to brave the main roads to get to Stockton or Middlesbrough.
