Then, down Tweeddale and up and over the Lammermuirs to the wood, via Screwfix, to invest in 100m of rope. On arrival, I tidied anything which might fly about in 80mph gusts and then roped-off the lighter woodland furniture to ensure it stays put.

Nancy messaged to say she was heading home early from Embra because she wasn’t feeling amazing (not bloody colds again?!!) and collected some ‘stay at home’ food and drinks at the village store to see his through tomorrow.
