Rockcliffe

For me, this place is what this holiday has been about. To come down here and not visit Rockcliffe would be unimaginable.
As a child we came to this area often, for long weekends or weeks in the summer. We always stayed in the caravan park and we always walked along the Jubilee Path from Kippford to Rockcliffe. A woodland walk with the sea on the right. We then would play on the beach and walk back home. Some great memories .

Today we did the same walk.

8 years ago after Dad died, we came here to Rockcliffe and scattered his ashes into the sea.

This place will always be very special. It has been an emotional day.

I used this place as my 'safe place' while in counselling.
