Bigger and Closer

To Manchester today, and including a visit to “Bigger and Closer” at Aviva Studios, an immersive trip into the world of David Hockney. Amazing wrap around digital projections and animations on s series of themes are accompanied by the voice of the man himself. It was all hugely impressive. I’ve added a couple of temporary extras.

DH had quite a lot to say about the difference between photography and painting which was interesting. He’s never been afraid to experiment with technology, and despite all his time in LA and Normandy he has never lost his Bradford accent.
