AL FRESCO

Miss HennyPenny a very beautiful hen from the Organic farm given a Fresco filter for the 500th Abstract Thursday.  A huge thank you Ingeborg for keeping this lovely challenge going and many congratulations for doing such a good job..
 
Been a beastly cold day here with wind and rain.  We had to wait in for a parcel to be delivered for Mr HB and the engineer to come to  repair the gas boiler. After both had been we didn’t have a sit down to recover from the bill for the latter as it comes from the head office, so we have that to dread, although we do know the cost and after yesterday’s little haul from the Antique and Jewellery Roadshow yesterday, it won’t be quite so painful.
 
Later I went to check on ‘Matilda’ (caravan) to see how she was faring.  The salt I had put in several containers around the place to soak up any damp has been doing a good job, and just required emptying and refilling. On the way home I popped into The Farm to stretch my legs, but didn’t stay out long as the wind was really whipping up and it started to rain again.  The hens didn’t seem too bothered though.
