Woodpeckers
I still haven't seen the smaller birds for several days, the chickadees, goldfinches and the nuthatch have been missing. I hope they are coming to the feeders when I am not home. Even the mourning doves and starlings have not been around very much.
The northern flicker was around this morning and he came back this afternoon and posed for some better photos. I believe there are two of them, one flew towards the front yard and there was another one sitting in the tree. I also had a pair of downy woodpeckers come to the suet this afternoon.
I got out for breakfast this morning with the travel/social group, 6 of us there, which was nice, it meant we could all talk and hear each other. I had 2 slices of French toast with lots of sliced banana and strawberries drizzled with chocolate and English cream.
Then I got the 2 small relines finished this afternoon. Another nail color reline to get done tomorrow.
A busy weekend planned. A portrait photography workshop on Saturday, with the brunch group Christmas party afterwards. Brunch on Sunday and a night time photography walk on Sunday evening.
