Stitched up

Today was the surgical tooth extraction after the (very smooth) fitting of 2 replacement crowns.

My dentist had one (or two) further attempts to see if what was left of the fractured root would move. But no joy.

The process took a wee while but was successful and, to be honest, less traumatic and less bruising than the previous attempt.

Stitching done - not I hasten to add with the implements in the photo - then several hours of taking things very quietly. I even found time to tackle the minutes from last night’s meeting.

As the injections wore off I was concerned about how I’d feel but apart from some tenderness all is fine. Thank you to my dentist!

The bigger worry has been the weather and our planned departure tomorrow lunchtime will now be delayed while the Red Alert is in operation. The emergency blast on the phone made me jump!
