Show Ram

Today we visited the Bunessan Show in Mull and were blessed with sunshine which was a relief after the horrendous rain we experienced driving to Mull yesterday.
This Blackface tup was typical of those on show with the well polished horns and immaculate fleece. The red ribbon laced into his back was evidence he had come 1st in his class although the overall winner in the sheep section and in fact champion of champions in the show turned out to be a Blackface ewe.
