Flying to Bologna

As I normally do around my birthday, I take a short break.  Yes, I know I have just had two weeks out of the office due to the festive holidays.

However, we early January birthday children tend to make up for the years of combined Christmas and Birthday gifts and parties.

I had decided on a trip to Bologna, so after a delay in departure from London Heathrow Airport we were on our way.

It was an enjoyable flight, which was not so full.  They offered a good breakfast, but sadly British Airways does not offer very good coffee.  

Truth to tell most airlines fall short in the coffee department, even in the business class cabins.  In flight filter coffee seems to have some issues.

The flight took us across the Alps.  The views were clear and it was pleasant so see the mountains from high above them.
