After the Swim….

Young women drying off after their evening swim. There were a number of folk in swimming with the tide starting to come in. The dark bank of cloud over the hills behind Nelson foretells rains to come over the weekend.
We drove into Stoke near Nelson this morning. Steve’s late mother Beryl’s ashes were to be interred in the Marsden Valley Cemetery. We had a large family gathering there and a meal at the “ Honest Lawyer “ pub at Monaco afterwards. Some family members had travelled from some distance. It was a special time.
