A few weeks ago I blipped some lovely walnuts maturing on our tree in the back yard. I predicted that the Sulphur Crested Cockatoos would pick a day in January and destroy the lot - well, last night it happened! Here’s one of many dropped on the grass with the rest strewn on the driveway or thrown over the fence into the lane.
