Ice scraper broke

I had to run to the post office to ship some of my mom's remains to my brother and send some movies to a friend. I bought a "sharing urn" as a surprise gift (that seems like an odd word for this) for my brother.

There was a layer of snow and ice on my car. The snow was light and powdery, so that was easy to remove, but the ice was something else. Look at what it did to my scraper! It had a spring in it so it was easier on the wrist and hand when it hit a tough spot. But today it just snapped after a few runs over the ice. Sigh. I'd had that since 2006. I'll have to buy another scraper soon.
