Blitz Beach

A cycle from Crosby to Hightown along Blitz Beach on a very windy day. This stretch of beach has the name Blitz Beach because a lot of the debris from the Luftwaffe bombing in May 1941 was dumped onto this beach in order to clear the city quickly .All sorts can be found on the beach from peoples homes but also parts of headstones from graveyards that were hit.
