Strange weather

Windy weather so most of us decided not to venture far.  It’s eased this afternoon so I dutifully returned six library books and collected another four. I love our local Library.

I had a look through the window at lunchtime and, even though it’s the first day of the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch, my regulars wanted their food.  I sat for half an hour and recorded them. I was planning to do mine on Sunday, but if they do all vanish, I’ve something honest to fall back on.

I rather liked this cheeky chaffinch pausing for a drink in the bird bath.
