Low Voltage
Storm Éowyn mostly went north of us, but nevertheless last night was a noisy one. Today, on my walk, I came across this power line which had collapsed to the ground due to a tree falling across it a bit further up the lane.
Work was taking place to reduce the tree to manageable logs, while the distribution engineers told me to 'watch out it's live!'. I said I'd not infringe R2.4 safety distances, a technical phrase which probably informed them I wasn't entirely unaware of potential hazards.
Janet celebrated her excellent and entirely successful stent replacement operation last night by mishandling a dish in the oven and badly straining her wrist. That's tennis out for the rest of the winter... also, cooking. lol.
