Wild Wednesday ...

... Birds, birds, birds.

This afternoon after our walk at Housenick Memorial park I spent some time in the greenhouse 'bird hide'.  As you can see from the picture in lower right it was nice and toasty warm.  The -6° F was the low from last night and 65.6° F was the temp when I was in there.  Nice!

All but the White-throated sparrow pictures were taken from inside the greenhouse.  And you might have noticed that the little Black-capped Chickadee is missing his tail!  This doesn't seem to bother him at all!  I've seen other birds like this and they all seem to get along just fine.
