Visiting

It was great to log off work, eat a home-cooked dinner (mushroom risotto) and then head out to visit friend Farzan. We hadn't seen her for months and still had Christmas presents to exchange!

Farzan always has a large display of food, with loads to choose from. I was too full to do justice to the food, but I did try some of the small pastries. We chatted for over two hours and could have gone on for longer if it hadn't been past 10 p.m. on a weeknight!

Earlier, G went for a 4get-me-not lunch at a Mexican restaurant and came home with a plastic mug complete with straw decorated with avocados! Not the nicest looking thing. I wonder if she will use it!
