Quince experiment day 1

No gin (or other alcohol) involved in this experiment.

Wash a quince or 4 (I only had one). Wash and slice finely. Add to a sterilised jar with 100-250g demerara sugar. Seal the jar, shake well and repeat the shaking at regular intervals for 2 days.

Isn't osmosis a wonderful thing.  :-)

Also managed to deliver another bag of leaves to the allotment and did the first watering of the year These were plants in the cold frame, so missing out on all that lovely rain we have been having.
