Some good, some not so good…

My tulips are just beginning to droop but they’re really still ok.

Like me this week! Some droopy days of tiredness and sadness and others when I’ve been upbeat and feel I’ve achieved things. We’re leading up to the first anniversary of dear Valerie passing away, and I’ve had other admin to do and my heart has ached somewhat. My love and thoughts to others here whose week has felt the same xx

But there are many gratefuls too. This week I’ve needed reminding of that. Tomorrow evening we have close friends coming to dinner. Today I’ve made headway with preparing that and I know it will be a happy time. Keep it simple is my mantra!

A very happy extra.. our Esmée was 6 years old today!!! Already!
