Amaryllis Novice

Purchased from Lidl as a kit mid November. Nothing happened for weeks, even resorted to social media for help. Just needed to be patient as soon after the small shoot awoke . Two more on way. Such a beautiful and beguiling plant.

Spent the morning on the computer. Weather miserable. Improved p.m. We walked along the clifftop. Too late for our favourite cafés.

Passed our neighbour's new café/bar and noticed the cover was off the window. He beckoned us in and offered an excellent (Segafredo) coffee. We are invited to the opening do tomorrow.

Watching Day 1 of the 2025 TOTO Dutch Darts darts. Luke Littler came through in the end. He's an adult - age 18 now.

NB Storm Eowyn: Torrential rain and very windy last night, but not as bad as Wales and the North.
