BESTIES DAY

This morning I went up to the house …. Gave it a quick spruce up before one of my besties arrived for brunch. She hadn’t seen the house yet due to tricky family commitments so it was nice to show her today. She loved it and saw its potential. It’s like a boost to keep us going when friends say that.
Unfortunately I had to cut it short (we could chat for hours!!) as I had a physio appointment. Which was really positive and I have been offered group classes once a week for 4 weeks.

The it was off to collect my other 2 besties for a walk around Crystal Palace park. One was my poor friend whose husband died suddenly 4 weeks ago today. We discussed the funeral plans for next week and praised the strength her 3 young children shown (all in their 20s). She is also amazing although she said she should be pulling herself together by now. I don’t think so dear friend.
I think it did her good to get out and away from endless phone calls with insurance, banks, undertakers, church, florists etc.

This evening we went to visit O for a cuppa.

Today would have been my nephew’s 30th birthday….Frankie always in our hearts.
