Willy Wind's worst.
Worst it did to me anyway; I hear it's been BAD elsewhere; Roofs off & Power out, etc. I had a Brush, parked uprightIn my Den/Hide; under the Cedar and propped against the Yew. I sneaked it back in and secured it.
While I was inside I looked out the other side and saw where the bold Willy had succeeded in sweeping the Lawn free of Grass; not that there was much just there to sweep anyway.
I got the impression, from the Radio this morning that Éowyn had yet to arrive; y'could have fooled me. I lay in Bed last night and could have sworn (Actually - I did) the house shuddered & I felt it. More windy than rainy at a guess; with only 0.75" in the gauge. OR, if you prefer 0.01905m ≈ 19mm.
ONE of these days, I'll manage to hold it truly vertical.
B. T. W. She's apparently a female storm; "Hell hath no fury like a female storm."
I had also forgotten "Éowyn is a fictional character in J. R. R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings. She is a noblewoman of Rohan who describes herself as a Shieldmaiden."
