Into the City

Went into Dallas for a little bit today with my dad. Got to visit some of the places he works, most especially the Belo Mansion, where he does security. I don't get to spend as much quality time with my dad as I would like, so that was nice.

Afterwards, we finally took a stray cat who had been coming around our house to the animal shelter. It had been coming around for quite some time, and we'd been attempting to help it get better, but it was clear that the cat was wasting away -- it barely put up a fight when we moved it into a cage and took it up to the shelter. Odds are they'll put it to sleep, which is sad -- it's an adorable cat, but was highly aggressive and clearly very sick. Still.
