Power Cut

Storm Eowyn has destroyed my neighbours' fence. Some of it has crash landed in my garden and when the storm dies it will need to be returned. We've been without power now for 12 hours. I made Poppy Leek and Potato soup and she quickly lost interest in our conversation as I started to wax lyrical about the Seventies, the three day week and power cuts... in fact , I can't blame her. Power scheduled to be restored at 6PM tomorrow evening.
