Bluebird

The back deck and heated birdbath are clean, with the latter turned upside down to keep the robins out.  All the other birds (except starlings) were staying away while the robins were dominating the backyard.  I couldn't stand seeing their mess any longer.  All the usual avian suspects have returned to business as usual.

As of yesterday afternoon, 86% of Lake Erie was covered with ice and there's a Canadian freighter stuck out there.  That reminds me of Netflix's The Terror series, which we are currently enjoying.  I've had Alice Jane Hamilton's Finding John Rae on my reading list since seeing something about it last year on Blip.
