A 6 - spot ladybird - suddenly the garden has exploded in them, which is wonderful, as they've had such a bad time of it for so many years. They simply love the yellow rattle seed heads & this one looks like a little gem setting in a beautiful piece of jewellery.

Nothing better to do

When the sun comes out it's so incredibly hot & close. Just had a mini lightning storm & heavy rain, but now it's looking very sultry out there, might need to step outside & get a lungful of fresh rain on parched earth - it's a great smell! :) xxx
