Ampleforth

A walk around the grounds of Ampleforth Abbey late meeting. The sun was really strong and I had left the water in the car so Jasper was really struggling with the heat.

On the way back I picked him up and plonked him in a shallow part of the river so he could have a drink and cool down.

Then an Ampleforth burger and chips for me for lunch.

On the way back we had torrential rain and within minutes the road was flooded.

In other news of non-relaxing I've cleared out an outside drain, washed the car, taken Jasper to the groomers, gone to the local farm shop to stock up and caught up on work emails.

I definitely don't do days off at home. Back to work Monday for a rest!
