Day 5 - Home!
Had a lovely evening last night chatting and chilling at the campsite - Morton Hall Park. Then this morning we had a gorgeous sunny windy morning to get packed up for the last time. The ride to the station was fine and not nearly as bad as getting to the campsite the night before.
It was funny cycling across the Royal Mile and pushing our bikes along Princes Street to get to the station, watching all the tourists, wow it was busy!
I wanted a picture of me and the Edinburgh Waverley sign, but this had to do!
Got the bikes on and off the train which is always a bit of a nightmare and arrived home safely.
Lou has looked after Tallulah and the hens, and even tidied up for our arrival home. I think he has enjoyed the time alone. He's proved himself to be a very responsible and capable young lad - very proud of him. Fu has cycled his socks off! Up and down hills - never grumbled and I hope he has enjoyed himself. Very proud of how well he has managed this holiday.
I have had a great week and now want to plan the next one!
